Under the Draft Decree, the National Database on Insurance must conduct data assessment, inspection, and maintenance under Article 16 of Decree 47/2020/ND-CP on the management, connection, and sharing of digital data. The assessment contents include:

Number of managed entities
Data update content compared to the content of administrative procedures on insurance
Assessment of discrepancies with the National Database on Population, and the National Database on Enterprises.
Assessment and statistics of data content updates from databases outside the insurance sector.
Other contents to determine the level of data quality and data discrepancies with documents and data from related information systems.
Other contents as per current regulations.

The assessment results must be documented clearly stating the assessment contents and results of each entry, discrepancy figures, and proposed handling measures, and sent to relevant parties including the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information and Communications for opinions.

After receiving opinions from relevant agencies, the agency managing the National Database conducts data maintenance according to the proposed handling measures.
