Vietnam: 05 remedial measures for administrative violations in sports

This is a notable content specified in Decree No. 46/2019/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government on penalties for administrative violations in sports.

Specifically, as for each administrative violation, apart from penalties, the wrongdoer may face single or multiple remedial measure(s) below:

- Enforced transfer of the profits earned from administrative violations.

- Enforced cancellation of grades awarded to athletes, coaches, referees of high-achievement sports.

- Enforced cancellation of sport competition result or athletes selection result to sports team, sports aptitude schools; or sports competition achievements.

- Enforced cancellation of manuals of methods forbidden in sports training and competition.

- Enforced public apology.
