Vietnam: 03 contents of tests on bioproducts

The Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 60/2016/NĐ-CP providing for certain regulatory requirements for trade and investment in the environment and natural resource sector.

Specifically, according to Decree No. 60/2016/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, contents of tests on bioproducts include:

- Ingredients, quality of bioproducts specified in specified statutory standards;

- Efficacy of bioproducts, if used according to instructions;

- Evaluation of health safety of bioproducts for human beings and living organisms.

Also according to Decree No. 60/2016/NĐ-CP, a bioproduct testing report must include the followings:

- Name of the testing body or facility or individual applying for a test;

- Name of bioproduct in question with attachment of dossier stating ingredients, efficacy, storage and administration method, label and packaging;

- Pre-testing conditions of bioproducts;

- Testing subject matters;

- Testing location, time, scale and method;

- Testing results, conclusions and recommendations.
