Vietnam: 03 contents of inspection in the Planning and Investment sector

According to Article 12 of Decree No. 216/2013/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government, 03 contents of inspection in the Planning and Investment sector are as follows:

1. Inspection of compliance with regulations on comprehensive economic and social development planning, including:

- Development of comprehensive economic and social development plans;

- Appraisal of comprehensive economic and social development plans;

- Approval and publication of comprehensive economic and social development plans;

- Implementation of comprehensive economic and social development plans.

2. Inspection of compliance with regulations on economic and social development planning, including:

- Development and approval of economic and social development plans;

- Implementation of economic and social development plans.

3. Inspection of compliance with other regulations on comprehensive economic and social development planning and economic and social development planning.

Besides, Decree No. 216/2013/ND-CP also stipulates contents of specialized inspection in the field of allocation, management and use of development investment capital as follows:

- Inspection of compliance with regulations on planning, allocation, and arrangement of development investment capital.

- Inspection of compliance with regulations on allocation, management, and utilization of development investment capital.

- Inspection of compliance with regulations on project management and implementation, including: Development, appraisal, and approval of investment projects; Implementation of investment projects; Completion of investment, putting investment projects into operation.

- Inspection of compliance with other regulations on allocation, management, and utilization of development investment capital.
