Training Program Organized at Medical Training Institutions

On October 25, 2018, the Ministry of Health issued Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT specifying the types of training programs organized at specialized medical training institutions.

Accordingly, Circular 26 stipulates the types of training programs to be organized at healthcare training institutions as follows:

- For higher education institutions with undergraduate-level or higher healthcare training programs and special-grade public service healthcare providers that meet the standards specified in Articles 3, 4, 5, and 6 of this Circular 26, the implementation of training programs according to the professional title standards for healthcare sector public employees in grades I, II, III, and IV is permitted.- For grade I public service healthcare providers and healthcare and population training centers that meet the standards specified in Articles 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Circular 26, the implementation of training programs according to the professional title standards for healthcare sector public employees in grades II, III, and IV is permitted.

At the same time, Circular 26 also stipulates that colleges with healthcare training programs and grade II public service healthcare providers that meet the standards specified in Articles 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Circular 26 are permitted to implement training programs according to the professional title standards for healthcare sector public employees in grades III and IV.
