Expenses for training international students under the Study Agreement in Vietnam with the following details:

- Regular expenses include costs for teaching and studying, including translation and interpretation of materials (if any), costs for study visit, field survey for short-term training classes (if any), and housing support for international students.

- One-time expenses for the entire course: support for equipment serving teaching, practical activities, and living equipment for international students in dormitory; sightseeing expenses; admission procedure expenses; expenses for course summary, completion, and defense of graduation thesis; gifts; reception and farewell expenses for international students at Vietnam international airport.

- Other expenses: health insurance for international students during the actual study period in Vietnam (health insurance premium according to the legal regulations on health insurance for students); overall health check-up at the start of the course, annual periodic overall health check-up; expenses on Vietnam's National Day and the national day of the foreign students' home country.

Circular 55/2020/TT-BTC stipulates the funding levels for training international students under the Study Agreement in Vietnam as follows:

- Teaching Vietnamese for international students to take entrance exams for undergraduate and postgraduate levels: 2,576,000 VND/person/month;- Undergraduate and postgraduate education according to legal regulations on education and training: 2,576,000 VND/person/month;- Professional knowledge enhancement courses with training duration less than 12 months: 5,485,000 VND/person/month;- Educational institutions under the categories of national defense, security, cipher, sports, culture, and arts are granted an additional 10% of the training funding allocated for the corresponding training system stipulated in Points b, c Clause 2 Article 4 of this Circular.

For specific funding levels for the expenses mentioned in Clause 1 Article 4 of this Circular: apply according to the funding rates of the educational institutions (if any) in accordance with legal regulations; if there are no specific rates, the educational institutions proactively manage their expenses. The total expenses must not exceed the funding levels stated in Clause 2 Article 4 of this Circular.

In cases where educational institutions do not have sufficient conditions to provide meals, accommodation, and living conditions for international students, the educational institutions shall refer to the funding rates stipulated in Clause 2 Article 4 of this Circular to negotiate, sign contracts with providers to ensure meals and accommodation for international students.
