To improve the effectiveness of career orientation for students in Hanoi, Vietnam

The content mentioned in Notice 322/TB-VP dated July 13, 2023 concluded the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee at the Dialogue Conference with Youth in 2023.

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee concluded as follows:

1. For city departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities in Vietnam 

- Fully understanding the issues discussed and answered at the Conference; proactively researching and proposing competent authorities to promptly and effectively settle legitimate opinions and recommendations of union members and youth; sending the results to the Department of Home Affairs before November 30, 2023, to summarize and report to the City People's Committee.

- Regularly paying attention to, leading, directing, and supporting Youth Union organizations to perform their assigned tasks well; creating conditions for union members and youth to organize many practical and effective movements; encouraging and supporting young people to start up and set up businesses; and having many opportunities to participate and contribute to movements and common activities of agencies, units, and localities;

- Researching and advising competent authorities to improve the effectiveness of career guidance for pupils and students by appropriate mechanisms and policies; coordinating with enterprises and production establishments to organize vocational training according to actual needs and create a high-quality labor source, contributing to the general socio-economic development;

- Encouraging and creating conditions for union members and youth to build and organize successful and effective production and business models, contributing to the socio-economic promotion of the locality. Support and orientation for young people to develop according to specific industries and fields such as: Economy, industry, agriculture, management skills, etc., and always accompanies young people on the path of entrepreneurship, creativity, and digital transformation;

- Departments, and branches of the City: Labor - Invalids, and Social Affairs, Education and Training, Science and Technology; Information and Communication; Planning and Investment; The Management Board of Industrial Parks and Export Processing... show their role as a bridge for counseling, career guidance, and job introduction, helping the young generation gain more knowledge to choose a career in accordance with their interests, abilities, and social trends in the world.

2. For Standing Committee of Hanoi Youth Union

- Continuing to synthesize the suggestions and recommendations of union members and young people (including those who have spoken and have not yet spoken at the Conference) and send them to relevant departments, branches, and localities for consideration, handling, and settlement. reply in writing. In case of exceeding the competence to settle, report to the City People's Committee for consideration and settlement according to regulations;

- Continuing to flexibly innovate, orient the younger generation, be more dynamic in mobilization, gathering, solidarity, and collective strength; renovating the mode of operation; bringing into play the potential and strengths of the youth in order to attract the most and have the most youth force to do the most meaningful things for society. Activities of Youth organizations in the city are associated with the implementation of political tasks by localities and units, focusing on the following areas: agriculture, industry, science, security, national defense, etc., in which Hanoi Capital Youth is identified as the core force;

- Educating and fostering union members and young people of revolutionary tradition, forming good qualities in the young generation such as: Fostering and raising the spirit of patriotism, pride, national pride, strong political will, aspiration to rise, knowledge, confidence, dynamism, creativity, solidarity, kindness, living with ideals, ambition, and the desire to dedicate for the country and Hanoi capital.

3. For union members and young people in Hanoi, Vietnam

Youth union members and youth in Hanoi city, the core being the capital's youth, must identify themselves as the future masters of the country, with the role of a force directly participating in all fields of national construction and defense, from agricultural production, industry, scientific research, armed forces, etc., that need to make efforts to train and hone professional knowledge and skills to adapt to the domestic and international labor market.

At the same time, take the initiative, improve self-responsibility, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, seize opportunities, trends of the times, and actual needs of society to be bold in starting a business, creating, and transforming digitally, thereby promoting good models and effective ways to contribute to the socio-economic development of the Capital and the country.
