The Minister of Health of Vietnam issued Decision 1483/QD-BYT dated March 21, 2023 on the Plan to systematize legal documents on health for the period 2019-2023.

1. To establish a working group to systematize legislative documents on health in Vietnam

According toDecision 1483/QD-BYT dated March 21, 2023, the Legal Department is responsible for:

- Coordinating with units of Department, Department, General Department, Office, and Ministry Inspector: Decision to establish a Working Group to systematize legal documents on health for the 2019-2023 period with the participation of representatives of units under the Ministry.

- Completion time: March 2023.

2. Other tasks in Decision 1483/QD-BYT dated March 21, 2023

Some other tasks in Decision 1483/QD-BYT dated March 21, 2023 are as follows:

- Organize training to exchange, guide, and provide in-depth answers on skills in reviewing and systematizing documents for the period of 2019–2023, for civil servants directly assigned to perform tasks at the units.

+ Unit in charge: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: Quarter II/2023.

- Complete set of documents for systematization, including:

+ Legislative documents in the systematization of legal normative documents are still valid in the field of state management of the Ministry of Health until the end of December 31, 2018;

+ Legislative documents in the field of state management issued by the Ministry of Health from January 1, 2019 to the end of December 31, 2023;

+ The focal point and general unit: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: Quarter II/2023.

- Conduct a review of documents within the scope of systematization in accordance with regulations and gather results of document review conducted;

+ The focal point and general unit: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: Quarter IV/2023.

- Make and arrange lists of valid documents, lists of documents that have expired in whole or in part, and lists of documents that need to be amended, supplemented, replaced, or promulgated according to the provisions of Clause 4. Articles 167 and 168 of Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP;

+ Unit in charge: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: Quarter IV/2023.

- Arrange legal documents that are still valid into a systematization of documents;

+ The focal point and general unit: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: Quarter IV/2023.

- Develop and submit to the Minister for signing the decision announcing the results of the systematization of documents in the field of state management of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam for the period 2019–2023.

+ Unit in charge: Legal Department.

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors.

+ Completion time: January 2024.

- Public the Decision announcing the results of the systematization of documents in the field of state management of the Ministry of Health for the period of 2019–2023 on the website of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam;

+ Unit in charge: Office of the Ministry;

+ Coordinating unit: Legal Department;

+ Completion time: January 2024.

- Prepare a report on the results of systematization of legislative documents on health for the period 2019–2023 and send it to the Ministry of Justice for collection;

+ Unit in charge: Legal Department;

+ Coordinating units: Departments, Divisions, General Departments, Offices, Ministry Inspectors;

+ Completion time: March 2024.
