To be specific, Circular 15/2006/TT-BYT stipulates the time limit for submitting reports on the inspection of household clean water, drinking water, and toilets as follows:
1. Monthly Periodic Report Submission Deadlines: No later than 5 working days from the closing date, the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center must submit the report to the Ministry of Health of Vietnam (Vietnamese Preventive Medicine Department), and simultaneously send one copy to the Provincial Health Department, and one copy to the Regional Specialized Institute for reporting purposes.
2. Semi-Annual and Annual Periodic Report Submission Deadlines:
- No later than 5 working days from the closing date, the commune-level Health Station (hereinafter referred to as the Communal Health Station) must submit the periodic report to the District Preventive Medicine Center, and simultaneously send one copy to the District Health Office for reporting purposes;
- No later than 10 working days from the closing date, the District Preventive Medicine Center must submit the report to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center, and simultaneously send one copy to the District Health Office for reporting purposes;
- No later than 15 working days from the closing date, the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center must submit the report to the Ministry of Health of Vietnam (Vietnamese Preventive Medicine Department), and simultaneously send one copy to the Provincial Health Department, and one copy to the Regional Specialized Institute for reporting purposes;
- No later than 20 working days from the closing date, the Institute of Occupational Health and Environmental Hygiene, the Tay Nguyen Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Pasteur Institute Nha Trang, and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Public Health Hygiene must submit the report to the Ministry of Health of Vietnam (Vietnamese Preventive Medicine Department).
3. Ad Hoc Report Submission Deadlines: Reports must be made via telephone within 24 hours and in written form within 72 hours after any unexpected issue arises. In the case of reporting as requested by a higher authority, it must be performed according to the time prescribed by the higher authority.
