Time for selection and call-up of citizens for military service in Vietnam in 2018

The People's Committee of Hai Phong City requires:

- Agencies and localities must correctly and fully implement the steps in the process of selecting and calling up citizens for military service, ensuring democracy, transparency, and compliance, and completing 100% of the military conscription targets with good quality.

- The advisory, coordination, and collaboration work among the city's Departments, agencies, and localities must be ensured to be strict, consistent, and in accordance with their functions and tasks.

- Effectively promote the roles and responsibilities of the Departments, agencies, socio-political organizations, and members of the City Military Service Council in guiding, inspecting, and urging localities to implement the process of selecting and calling up citizens for military service.

- The People's Committees of districts and counties must submit reports to the City People's Committee and the city's Departments and agencies for direction and monitoring. Specifically:

- Plan for selecting and calling up citizens for military service in 2018: Report to the City People's Committee (via the City Military Command) before October 01, 2017.

- Plan for preliminary health examination for military service: Report to the City Military Command and the Department of Health before November 01, 2017.

- Plan for health examination for military service: Report to the City Military Command and the Department of Health before November 15, 2017.

- Plan for verifying and politically reviewing citizens called up for military service in 2018: Report to the City Military Command and the City Police Department before January 01, 2018.

- Plan for organizing the 2018 Military Handing Over Ceremony: Report to the City Military Command and the City Police Department before February 10, 2018.
