There will be managerial official ensuring the safety of the electronic portal of educational institutions (Illustrative image)

In Article 11 of Circular 37/2020/TT-BGDDT, regulations on the responsibility for managing, operating, and using the electronic portal at educational institutions, education and training departments, and educational institutions of specific agencies in Vietnam are as follows:

- The head of the unit establishes the Editorial Board of the electronic portal (working on a part-time basis); assigns one leader of the unit as the head of the Editorial Board.

- The head of the unit issues the Regulations on the management, operation, and use of the electronic portal, including at least the following contents:

- Content posted on the electronic portal;

- Procedures for receiving, processing, editing, updating, and handling information posted on the electronic portal;

- Deadlines for providing and updating information on the electronic portal;

- Responsibilities of units and individuals in providing, compiling, appraising, and approving content posted on the electronic portal;

- Regulations on the responsibilities for managing and operating the technical aspects of the electronic portal;

- Working regime of Editorial Board members.

Note: The head of the unit assigns a subordinate department or staff member as the focal point responsible for cooperating with the service provider or independently executing, operating technical aspects to ensure stable operation and information security for the electronic portal (registering and managing domain names, adjusting the interface, managing the server, decentralizing access, creating accounts, creating passwords, deploying information security solutions, providing support, and addressing technical issues).
