Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 05/2020/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the organizational and operational regulations of district-level Public Vocational Education Centers in Vietnam.
The vocational education center is responsible for proactively coordinating closely with enterprises in training in Vietnam (Illustration)
In accordance with Article 36 of Circular 05/2020/TT-BLDTBXH, public district-level Vocational Education Centers in Vietnam are responsible for proactively and closely cooperating with enterprises in training activities in Vietnam, including:
- Developing and organizing the implementation of training plans that meet the technical labor force needs of enterprises and the labor market.
- Inviting the relevant enterprise representatives to participate in the development of the Center’s training programs and curricula; participating in teaching, guiding vocational practice, and evaluating the learners' performance.
- Coordinating with enterprises to organize visits and internships for teachers and learners at enterprises, linking teaching and learning with actual production and services.
- Collaborating with enterprises to train and upgrade the vocational skills of the enterprise's workforce when needed.- Cooperating with enterprises in research, production, application, and technology transfer activities.
Furthermore, this Circular also stipulates that the center has the responsibility to publicly announce the annual plans, targets, admission standards, and policies for learners. At the same time, the center should proactively cooperate with learners’ families to improve the quality and efficiency of the training in Vietnam.
