The State Encourages Investigation and Assessment of the Current State of Forest Ecosystems

This is the content stipulated in Decree 06/2019/ND-CP on the management of forest plants, endangered, precious, and rare forest animals, and the implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

According to the provisions of Decree 06/2019/ND-CP, the investigation and assessment of the current status of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals are carried out as follows:

- The investigation and assessment of the status of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals are conducted alongside forest investigation activities in accordance with the provisions of the Forest Management Regulations.- The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organizes the investigation and assessment of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals nationwide, while the provincial People's Committees conduct the investigation and assessment within the forest areas under their provincial jurisdiction.- The State encourages forest owners to carry out the investigation and assessment of the current status and developments of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals within the areas assigned or leased by the State.
