- If an individual participating in the revolution or resistance activities is captured by the enemy, imprisoned, and is currently receiving a monthly allowance and then dies, the person organizing the funeral is entitled to funeral expenses; the representative of the next of kin is entitled to a lump-sum allowance equivalent to three months of preferential allowance.- If an individual participating in the revolution or resistance activities is captured by the enemy, imprisoned, and dies but has not yet received the benefits for individuals participating in the revolution or resistance activities as captured by the enemy, imprisoned, the representative of the next of kin is entitled to a lump-sum allowance equivalent to 1.5 times the standard level.

In addition, individuals participating in the revolution or resistance activities and captured by the enemy and imprisoned are entitled to a monthly allowance equivalent to 0.6 times the standard level.

Regarding the time to receive monthly allowance

- For those who have received a one-time allowance and are currently alive: The time to receive the monthly allowance is from September 1, 2012;- For those recognized from September 1, 2012, onwards: The time to receive the allowance is from the date the Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issues the decision.
