The maximum duration for the implementation of the sustainable forest management plan is 10 years

This is the content stipulated in Circular 28/2018/TT-BNNPTNT regulating sustainable forest management.

According to the provisions of Circular 28, forest owners have the responsibility to develop and implement a sustainable forest management plan, specifically:

- Forest owners may either develop the plan themselves or hire a consulting unit to develop the sustainable forest management plan.- The period for implementing the sustainable forest management plan is a maximum of 10 years from the date the plan is approved.- In cases where state agencies adjust the area of forest or forestry land affecting the utilization purposes of the forest area, or when forest owners need to change their management, production, or business plans, they must adjust the sustainable forest management plan and submit it for approval for the adjusted content.
