Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the minimum volume of knowledge, and the competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level, college level in health and social service sectors, effective from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners should achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques issued in conjunction with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility achieved after graduating from college in physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques is as follows:
- Work independently, work in groups, solve complex tasks in changing work conditions;
- Guide, supervise the task performance, take personal responsibility and responsibility for the group;
- Fulfill assigned tasks, proactively take responsibility in work;
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information;
- Propagate, educate health, and prevent disabilities for patients;
- Evaluate the quality of work after completion and the results achieved by group members;
- Comply with legal regulations when practicing, practice professional ethics and the regulations of the workplace;
- Have a spirit of solidarity, be amiable and modest with colleagues, empathetic, sharing, thoughtful, and caring towards patients and their families;
- Be honest, objective, and cautious in practicing the profession.
Additionally, after graduation, learners are competent to meet the requirements of job positions in the field including: Rehabilitation in physical therapy; Rehabilitation in occupational therapy.
