The latest fee rates for issuing licenses for new aquaculture operations in Vietnam

On November 28, 2018, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular 118/2018/TT-BTC stipulating the rates, collection policies, payment, management, and use of the appraisal fees for confirming the origin of aquaculture materials; and the fees for issuing permits for fishing and aquaculture operations.

According to the provisions of Circular 118, the new fee and charge rates will be applied from January 15, 2019 in vietnam. To be specific:

No	Type of Fee, Charge	Rate
1	Fee for appraisal to verify the origin of marine materials	150,000 VND + (number of tons of marine products x 15,000 VND/ton). Maximum 700,000 VND/time.
2	Charge for issuing fishing permits:
a	New issue	40,000 VND/time
b	Renewal or re-issue	20,000 VND/time
c	Change of permit due to change in permit contents	40,000 VND/time
3	Charge for issuing operation permits for foreign fishing vessels:
a	New issue	200 USD/time
b	Renewal or re-issue	100 USD/time
c	Change of permit due to change in permit contents	200 USD/time
