The Judge Selection Council needs to hold at least 02 meetings for each examination term

This is one of the regulations regarding the meeting sessions of the Judge Selection Council in Circular 03/2016/TT-TANDTC issued by the Supreme People's Court on February 03, 2016.

Circular 03 stipulates that the Council must hold at least 02 meetings for each exam session (before and after the organization of the exam). Furthermore, if deemed necessary, the Chairman of the Council has the authority to convene an extraordinary meeting. Meetings must have all Council members present unless the Chairman delegates authority to the Vice Chairman.

The Council meeting discusses and decides on the following contents:

- Decisions on the exams throughout the year, the time, location of the exams, and the content of the exam subjects;- Approval of the training, nurturing, or review program of the Judicial Academy for the exam candidates;- Decision on the authorization for the Judicial Academy to open training, nurturing, or review classes and to conduct selection exams, and promotion exams for judges;- Stipulation of specific conditions for candidates for each exam session;- Approval of the list of individuals who meet the standards and conditions to take the exam;- Announcement of the list of successful candidates after the exam results are provided by the Judicial Academy’s Exam Council;- Decisions on other matters as stipulated.
