The Degree of Autonomy and Employment Position Obtained after Graduation from Medical Imaging Equipment Technical College

Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in health and social services fields will take effect from February 10, 2019.

As per the Regulation on the Minimum Amount of Knowledge, Competency Requirements that Learners Must Achieve Upon Graduating from Secondary or College Level in Medical Imaging Equipment Technology Issued with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that the minimum level of autonomy and accountability that learners must achieve after graduating from the technical secondary level of medical imaging equipment technology is as follows:

- Work independently or in a team under changing work conditions, cooperate with colleagues in performing tasks and resolving real-life situations when guided;- Perform tasks with a high sense of responsibility, precision, meticulousness, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene;- Be capable of resolving tasks or promptly reporting when there are changes required in the working environment;- Evaluate the quality of maintenance and repair processes after completing the tasks performed by team members.

Additionally, the regulation specifies that upon graduation, learners must possess the capability to meet the requirements for the job positions in the field, including:

- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing X-ray machines;- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing X-ray film processors;- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing X-ray film printers;- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing X-ray machines (C-Arm);- Installing, operating, maintaining digital X-ray machines;- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing CT scanners;- Installing, operating, maintaining and repairing angiography machines (DSA);- Installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing ultrasound machines.
