On August 7, 2023, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam issued Notice 4225/TB-CHK on the notice of civil service recruitment in 2023 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam as follows:

1. Number of civil servants to be recruited by job position at the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam

The total number of civil servants to be recruited by job position for the Departments and Offices is 11 targets, of which the rank of Specialist is 10, and the rank of Officer is 1.

The number of job positions for which the recruitment exam is conducted is stated in the Civil Civil Service Recruitment Target Appendix 2023 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam attached to Notice 4225/TB-CHK dated August 7, 2023 on civil service recruitment in 2023 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

2. Conditions for applying for civil servant recruitment at the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam

According to the provisions of Article 4 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, the conditions for registration for civil service recruitment are as follows:

- A person who fully meets the following conditions, regardless of ethnicity, male or female, social class, belief or religion, may register for civil service recruitment:

+ Having a Vietnamese nationality;

+ 18 years or older;

+ Having an application form; have a clear background;

+ Having appropriate diplomas and certificates;

+ Having good political and moral qualities;

+ Meeting health conditions to perform the task;

+ Other conditions as required by the position applied for.

Accordingly, the agency employing civil servants determines other conditions as required by the candidate position in accordance with the job position competency framework, but not lower than the general standards, not be contrary to the provisions of law, not discriminate against the type of training, and report in writing to the management agency of civil servants for consideration and decision.

Particularly for persons who were formerly civil servants who were disciplined and forced to quit their jobs:
After 12 months from the effective date of the disciplinary decision on dismissal, the civil servant who has been disciplined for dismissal is entitled to register for recruitment in state agencies, organizations, and units.

In case of being disciplined and forced to resign due to corruption, embezzlement, or violation of public service ethics, they are not allowed to register for recruitment in agencies or work in positions related to their assigned tasks and public duties.

- The following people are not eligible to apply:

+ Not residing in Vietnam;

+ Loss or restricted civil act capacity;

+ Being examined for penal liability; are serving or have completed serving criminal judgments or decisions of the Court but have not yet had their criminal records remitted; are being applied administrative handling measures sending to compulsory detoxification establishments, sending to compulsory education establishments.

3. Subjects and priority points for the civil servant recruitment exam at the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam

  Subjects and priority points in the civil service exam:

- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, War Invalids, and beneficiaries of policies such as Class B War Invalids and War Invalids: 7.5 points will be added to the second round score;

- Ethnic minority people, military officers, police officers, professional servicemen, people doing cipher work changing branches, graduates of reserve officer training, graduates of commanders of commune-level military commands of grassroots military branches, children of martyrs, children of war invalids, children of sick soldiers, children of policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, children of class B war invalids, biological children of resistance activists infected with toxic chemicals, children of Heroes of the Armed Forces, children of Heroes of Labor: 5 points will be added to the results of round 2;

- Those who have completed their military service, the obligation to join the People's Police, and volunteer youth members: 2.5 points will be added to the second round score.

In case the candidate for the entrance exam or admission belongs to many of the priority categories specified above, only the highest priority score will be added to the result of round 2.
