Issued together with Circular 03/2019/TT-BNV are sample employment contracts applicable to public employees starting from July 1, 2019. Depending on each case, a different employment contract format will be applied. To be specific:

- Form No. 01 (fixed-term employment contract) is applicable to those who pass the recruitment exam or selection process to become public employees.

- Form No. 02 (fixed-term employment contract) is intended for those under 18 years of age.

- Form No. 03 (indefinite-term employment contract) is applicable in the following cases:

+ Public employees who have completed a fixed-term employment contract as specified in Clause 2 and Clause 3, Article 18 of Decree 29/2012/ND-CP (amended and supplemented in Clause 10 of Decree 161/2018/ND-CP).

+ Officials who become public employees according to Point d, dd Clause 1, Article 58 of the Law on Public Employees.
