Below is the content specified in Circular 06/2019/TT-BGDDT regulating the Code of Conduct in preschools, primary and secondary education institutions, and continuing education institutions in Vietnam.
Circular 06/2019/TT-BGDDT stipulates that teachers in Vietnam must not insult, harm, act for personal gain; must not oppress, show prejudice, commit violence, or abuse; must not be indifferent, avoid or cover up violations by learners.
For other subjects, teachers' conduct must ensure:
- Conduct with management staff: Use respectful, honest, inquisitive language; actively consult and clearly express opinions; follow the directives, administration, and assignment of the leadership as stipulated. Do not insult, cause disunity; do not be indifferent, avoid, or cover up the wrongdoings of management staff.
- Conduct with colleagues and employees: Use appropriate, honest, friendly, inquisitive language; share and support; respect differences; protect the reputation, honor, and dignity of colleagues and employees. Do not insult, be indifferent, or cause disunity.
- Conduct with learners' parents: Use appropriate, honest, respectful, friendly, cooperative, and sharing language. Do not insult, impose, or act for personal gain.
- Conduct with guests at educational institutions: Use appropriate, respectful language. Do not insult, cause difficulties, or inconvenience.
