Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has issued regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Technical Safety Inspection Center of Region III in Vietnam.

On June 13, 2024, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs issued Decision 758/QD-BLDTBXH, which regulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Technical Safety Inspection Center in Region III in Vietnam.
- The Technical Safety Inspection Center in Region III is a public vocational unit under the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Center) with the function of inspecting technical safety, evaluating compliance with strict requirements for occupational safety of various types of machinery, equipment, and materials; providing technical services in accordance with the expertise and field of operation of the unit nationwide as prescribed by law.
- The Center implements the financial autonomy mechanism of public vocational units as prescribed by law; it has legal status, its own seal, and can open accounts at the State Treasury and commercial banks as prescribed by law.
- The Center's headquarters is located in Da Nang City.
- Develop and organize the implementation of long-term, medium-term, and annual activity plans of the Center as prescribed.
- Organize the inspection of occupational safety for machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict requirements for occupational safety and hygiene listed in the list issued by the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; evaluate the suitability of products and goods as prescribed by law.
- Conduct technical inspection of the causes of accidents, occupational accidents caused by machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict requirements for occupational safety and hygiene at the request of competent state agencies as prescribed by law.
- Provide training on occupational safety and hygiene as prescribed by law.
- Train and improve professional and technical skills for machine operators, equipment operators with strict requirements for occupational safety and hygiene; retrain and enhance the skills of workers according to the requirements of production and business establishments; provide professional and technical training for occupational safety trainers, occupational safety inspectors as prescribed by law.
- Organize service activities for consulting and evaluating safety risks, occupational safety and hygiene; appraise safety measures, occupational safety and hygiene; monitor occupational environment; inspect, calibrate, and test measuring devices and standards, and other relevant services in accordance with the professional field and capacity of the Center as prescribed by law.
- Cooperate with domestic and foreign organizations in the activities of technical safety inspection as prescribed by law and delegated by the Ministry.
- Manage officials and employees, facilities, finances, and assets as prescribed by law and the management delegation of the Ministry.
- Perform other tasks as prescribed by law and assigned by the Minister.
The Center has a Director and no more than 03 Deputy Directors.

- South Central Inspection Station.
