Support Policy for the National Telephone Hotline for Child Protection

In 2017, Circular 98/2017/TT-BTC was issued by the Ministry of Finance, stipulating the management and use of operational funds for the implementation of the Target Program for the Development of the Social Assistance System for the period 2016-2020.

According to Circular 98, the central branch of the National Child Protection Hotline is supported with the following expenses:

- Payment of phone, internet fees;- Maintenance costs of the hotline, other expenses of the hotline;- Costs for hiring employees, advisors, collaborators for the hotline, quality supervision of counseling, collaborators for the hotline;- Training costs for counseling, support for the hotline's counselors;- Communication costs for the National Child Protection Hotline.

Note: The expenditure level is based on actual incurred expenses and current State regulations for state agencies and public service providers. The costs for hiring employees, collaborators, and professional supervision experts are to be implemented according to labor contract laws.
