Support for Expenses for Veterinary Officers and Persons Directly Involved in Epidemic Prevention and Control

Circular 80/2008/TT-BTC stipulates the financial support for veterinarians and those directly involved in the task of disease prevention and control as follows:

- Veterinarians and forces directly involved in the destruction of livestock, poultry (including livestock, poultry, and products from livestock and poultry that the anti-smuggling forces and animal quarantine stations are required to destroy).- Forces performing tasks at quarantine checkpoints and those tasked with spraying disinfectant chemicals in epidemic areas.- The maximum expenditure is 50,000 VND/day/person for working days and 100,000 VND/day/person for weekends and holidays.- Based on the specific situation in the locality (regarding the extent and level of the epidemic, travel areas, scale of livestock and poultry herds, and the number of personnel participating in disease prevention and control), the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee or the centrally run city shall decide the specific allowance for veterinarians and forces participating in the prevention and control of livestock and poultry diseases in the locality appropriately.

Additionally, expenses for propaganda, inspection, directive guidance in disease prevention and control; the procurement of equipment and tools for disease detection, diagnosis, and prevention shall follow the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
