According to Resolution 03/2008/NQ-HDND stipulating the Supervision Program for 2009 of the People's Council of Phu Nhuan District in Vietnam:

1. Assign the Standing Committee of the People's Council of the district to supervise the following issues and report the results to the People's Council of the district:

- Survey the activities of the People's Council of wards in planning surveys, supervision in the implementation of the targets of the resolutions of the People's Council of the district.

- Implement the process of resolving citizens' records in administrative reform in some wards and departments of the district.- Process, progress, and quality of projects and works in the district.

2. Assign the committees of the People's Council of the district to supervise the following issues and report the results to the People's Council of the district:

The Legal Committee of the People's Council of the district:

- Survey the organization and implementation of anti-corruption and anti-waste programs in some fields of budget revenue and expenditure and public asset procurement.

- Receiving and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations in some wards and district departments.

- Survey the handling of crime reports in wards.

- Activities of units: Police, Prosecutors' Office, Court, and Civil Judgment Execution in the district.

The Socio-Economic Committee of the People's Council of the district:

- Practice thrift, combat waste, and efficiency in investment, construction, and use of public assets in some units.

- Implement the collection of fees from citizens and the policy of private investment in education at schools.

- Expand alleys following the principle of "State and people working together" and build cultural wards and neighborhoods, civilized trading markets.

- Implement the Hunger Eradication and Poverty Reduction Program; reintegrate former drug addicts into the community, and implement the special theme "2009 - Year of implementing urban civil behavior."

More details can be found in Resolution 03/2008/NQ-HDND, which comes into effect in Vietnam from January 2, 2009.
