Steps for External Technical Inspection of Azot Station

Circular 123 stipulates that when conducting external technical inspection of the azot station, the following checks must be carried out:

- Layout, installation location;- Operation lighting system;- Operational floor, stairs, racks, walkways...;- Electrical safety grounding system, lightning protection;- Check technical specifications on the labels of the azot station and tanks in the station compared to the design and records;- Check the status of safety equipment, measurement and auxiliary devices in terms of quantity, type, and technical specifications compared to the design and prescribed standards;- Check the types of pipes, valves, and pipe accessories installed in the station in terms of quantity, type, and technical specifications compared to the design and prescribed standards;- Check the condition of other auxiliary equipment accompanying the azot station during operation;- Check the condition of welds, metal surfaces of pressure-bearing components. In case of doubt, require the facility to apply additional appropriate inspection measures for more accurate evaluation;- Technical condition of the insulation and thermal insulation layers;- Check connection details;- Check cooling systems for refillable bottles (if any). Check the filling rack and components securing bottles during filling. Inspection system, determining the amount of gas filled.
