Statistical Indicators on Vietnamese Youth

On September 14, 2018, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Circular 11/2018/TT-BNV stipulating specific statistical indicators regarding Vietnamese youth.

Circular 11 stipulates the statistical indicator system for Vietnamese youth as the Statistical Indicator System for ministries and central authorities involving multiple sectors, multiple fields, and regional linkages.

The statistical indicator system for Vietnamese youth is a tool for collecting statistical data on youth to monitor and evaluate the development status of youth across various aspects of the socio-economic life, meeting the statistical information needs about youth for the Government of Vietnam and organizations, individuals, serving as a basis for state management agencies on youth to inspect, evaluate the implementation and formulate policies for youth.

At the same time, Circular 11 also stipulates the statistical indicator system for Vietnamese youth comprising:

- The list of indicators under the Statistical Indicator System for Vietnamese youth includes codes, groups, and indicator names;- The content of indicators under the Statistical Indicator System for Vietnamese youth includes concepts, calculation methods, primary classifications, publication period, data sources of statistical indicators, and agencies, organizations, units responsible for collecting and aggregating.
