Decree 52/2018/ND-CP was issued by the Government of Vietnam on April 12, 2018, to replace Decree 66/2006/ND-CP stipulating the development of rural trades.
The State encourages, creates favorable conditions, and supports rural vocational establishments in engaging in trade promotion activities.
In addition, the State directly organizes trade promotion activities related to supporting rural vocational establishments, specifically:
- Building electronic information pages to introduce products, online sales; designing product models, packaging; building brands, geographical indications of goods origin, brand protection;- Vietnam handicraft product contests.
Furthermore, rural vocational establishments participating in trade promotion activities organized by the State are supported by the state budget:
- Expenses to support hiring consultants, direct support for rural vocational establishments on the contents specified in point a, clause 2, Article 9 of Decree 52. The maximum support level is 50% of the cost, but not exceeding 50 million VND/establishment.- 100% cost coverage: renting product demonstration spaces; organizing contests; accommodation and travel expenses as specified in point b, clause 2, Article 9 of Decree 52.
Decree 52/2018/ND-CP effective from June 1, 2018.
