Standards for the person appointed to participate in the Exam Board of the recruitment exam for officials and public employees in Vietnam

According to Clause 5 Article 3 of the Regulation issued together with the Circular No. 6/2020/TT-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam, standards for the person appointed to participate in the Exam Board are prescribed as follows:

- Persons appointed to participate in the Exam Board are officials and public employees of agencies or units competent to organize recruitment of officials and public employees, exams for promotion of officials ranks, promotion of professional titles of public employees or of other agencies and units decided by the Chairman of the Council; have professional qualifications and work experience in the industry and field and are suitable to the requirements of the position to be recruited or the requirements of the officials rank contesting, the professional title of the public employee to be promoted;

- Persons appointed to participate in the Exam Board may not participate in the Board of Examination Proctors; Examination Board.

The Exam Board will work according to the following principles:

- Each member of the Exam Board must be personally responsible before the law and the head of the Exam Board for the content of the exam questions, exam marking instructions, and answers according to their assigned responsibilities and tasks; be responsible for keeping secret the contents of the exam questions, exam marking instructions, and test marking answers;

- The members of the Exam Board work independently and directly with the Head of the Examination Board; the person assigned to perform any task is responsible for performing that task, may not participate in other tasks of the Exam Board, unless assigned by the head of the committee.
