Standards for Teachers Serving as General Leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization in Vietnam

Circular 27/2017/TT-BGDDT on the regulations on standards, duties, powers, and assignment of teachers to serve as the General Leader of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization in public general education institutions in Vietnam was issued on November 08, 2017.

Teachers appointed as the General Leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization in Vietnam must ensure the following standards:

- Meet the standards of the professional title by the rank of the current teaching profession title (standards for elementary school teachers stipulated in Joint Circular 21/2015/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV, which specifies the code and standards for the professional title of public elementary school teachers; standards for lower secondary school teachers stipulated in Joint Circular 22/2015/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV, which specifies the code and standards for the professional title of public lower secondary school teachers);

- Trained in Organization operations and specialized in teaching or trained in Organization operation skills;

- Have the ability to cooperate with organizations inside and outside the school to organize Organization activities and children's movements.

According to this Circular, priority should be given to selecting teachers with skills in music, fine arts, physical education, sports, public speaking, event organizing, and communication to help the school effectively organize Organization activities and children's movements.
