Standards for Members of the Council for Appraisal of General Education Programs in Vietnam

Circular 14/2017/TT-BGDDT was issued by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam to provide regulations on the organization and activities of the National Council for Appraisal of General Education Programs in Vietnam.

Members of the Council for Appraisal of General Education Programs in Vietnam must meet the standards stipulated in Circular 14. To be specific:

- Possess good qualities, ethics, and ideology; have sufficient health and time to participate in program appraisal;

- Hold a university degree or higher; have expertise and understanding of educational science and general education programs;

- Have participated in the development or appraisal of general education programs; or have related activities, contributions to the development or appraisal of general education programs; or have at least 3 years of direct teaching experience at a general education institution.

Note: Those who participate in program development are not to participate in program appraisal.
