Standards for Materials and Equipment in Updating the Geographic Database

Accordingly, Circular 02 stipulates the norms for materials and equipment, including the consumption norms for materials and the consumption norms for tools (tools and instruments), and equipment (machinery). Specifically:

- Consumption norms for materials: the quantity of materials necessary to produce a unit of product.- Consumption norms for tools and equipment: the time (shift) workers directly use the tools and equipment necessary to produce a unit of product.

In addition, Circular 02 also stipulates the lifespan of tools (depreciation time), and equipment (amortization time), which is the prescribed duration for using tools and equipment in production activities under normal conditions, suitable with the economic-technical parameters of the tools and equipment. Specifically:

- Lifespan of tools: determined by statistical methods; the unit of measurement is months.- Equipment amortization time: according to the regulations in the joint Circulars guiding the estimation between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Additionally, the method for calculating the norms for materials and equipment is also stipulated in Circular 02 as follows:

- The norm for small and auxiliary tools is calculated at 5% of the tool norm in the tool norm table.- The norm for minor materials and wastage is calculated at 8% of the materials norm in the materials norm table.
