On February 2, 2024, the Minister of Transport issued Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT amending and supplementing some provisions of Circulars regulating the standards, tasks, and powers of leaders, inspectors, and professional staff of inland waterway vehicle inspection units.
- Have a college degree or higher in a relevant field or major that meets the requirements of the position.
- Have completed the training program for Grade III inspectors performing inspection work as prescribed in Point 1.2, Section I, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Have completed a minimum of 12 months of internship in inspection work at the inspection unit according to the internship program for the vehicles under the responsibility of the inspector carrying out Grade III inspection work as prescribed in Point 2.2, Section II, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Have basic information technology skills and proficiency in a foreign language as required by the position.
- Meet the practical capacity requirements for inspection by successfully passing the practical examination for inspectors carrying out Grade III inspection work before initial recognition.
Standards for Grade II inspectors of inland waterway vehicles performing inspection work in Vietnam
- Have a university degree or higher in a relevant field or major that meets the requirements of the position.
- Have completed the training program for Grade II inspectors of inland waterway vehicles performing inspection work as prescribed in Point 1.3, Section I, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Have held the Grade III inspection position for a total of 12 months.
- Have basic information technology skills and proficiency in a foreign language as required by the position.
- Have completed the internship in inspection work at the inspection unit according to the internship program for the vehicles under the responsibility of the inspector carrying out Grade II inspection work as prescribed in Point 2.2, Section II, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Meet the practical capacity requirements for inspection by successfully passing the practical examination for inspectors carrying out Grade II inspection work before initial recognition.
Standards for Grade I inspectors of inland waterway vehicles performing inspection work in Vietnam
- Have held the Grade II inspection position for a total of 24 months.
- Have completed the training program for Grade I inspectors of inland waterway vehicles performing inspection work as prescribed in Point 1.4, Section I, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Have basic information technology skills and proficiency in a foreign language as required by the position.
- Have completed the internship in inspection work at the inspection unit according to the internship program for the vehicles under the responsibility of the inspector carrying out Grade I inspection work as prescribed in Point 2.2, Section II, Appendix I issued with Circular 02/2024/TT-BGTVT.
- Meet the practical capacity requirements for inspection by successfully passing the practical examination for inspectors carrying out Grade I inspection work before initial recognition.
