Standards and Norms for Utilization of Asset Area of Career Facilities under Educational Institutions

This is a prominent regulation mentioned in Circular 38/2018/TT-BLDTBXH Regulations on standards and norms for the use of non-business area projects in the field of vocational education.

To be specific, based on the provisions stipulated in Article 5 of Circular 38/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the standards and norms for the use of facility areas for public service projects within vocational education institutions are detailed in the Annex attached to this Circular.

The content regarding standards and norms for the utilization of areas in rooms and functional zones serving practical training, experimentation, and testing for each training sector or profession will be applied in accordance with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs' regulations on the standards of physical facilities required for organizing training for each sector or profession at different educational levels.

It is noted that the areas specified in detail in this Circular represent the maximum areas, which are calculated based on the usable floor area dimensions as stipulated by law.

Furthermore, Circular 38/2018/TT-BLDTBXH also stipulates that for new investment projects, renovations, upgrades of vocational education institutions, or budget investments for renting public service facilities that comply with the relevant legal regulations and have been approved before the effective date of this Circular (i.e., February 10, 2019), the areas do not need to be redefined according to the standards and norms specified in this Circular.

Ministries, central agencies, and the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities that have issued standards and norms for the utilization of public service facility areas in accordance with the regulations in this Circular shall continue to implement according to the issued standards and norms.
