This is noteworthy content in Circular 45/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate, college levels for disciplines and professions in the fields of architectural engineering technology, construction projects, mechanics, electricity, electronics, communications, and chemistry in Vietnam, and effective from February 10, 2019.

Circular 45/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the skills that graduates in Mechatronics Engineering at college and intermediate levels need to achieve as follows:
1. College Degree
- Apply 5S and Kaizen standards in the workplace;
- Apply and maintain industrial hygiene, food hygiene, and labor safety measures in the workplace, use labor safety equipment;
- Read installation drawings, extract detailed drawings, and economic estimates;
- Operate machinery and equipment in the production line according to the correct procedures;
- Determine the machining technology process for some simple parts; design details using mechanical engineering software;
- Select types of: cutting tools, measuring tools, fixtures, and technological equipment for machining;
- Inspect products when machining on machine tools; handle incidents encountered during operation and machining;
- Draw and generate machining programs using CNC programming software; program machining details on CNC machines according to technical requirements;
- Select and use hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in the system;
- Adjust deviations during operation; quickly fix common errors during installation;
- Select programming languages and establish flowchart control algorithms that are intuitive and easy to understand; write compact and efficient control programs;
- Handle common errors during control programming, program loading, and program testing;
- Maintain and repair lubrication systems, cooling systems, mechanical transmission systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems;
- Inspect, operate, and hand over products after maintenance and repair;
- Guide the operation of the system after upgrading;
- Accept, hand over, and write job result reports;
- Use basic information technology as prescribed; exploit, handle, and apply information technology in professional work;
- Use basic foreign languages, reaching level 2/6 in the Vietnam Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign languages in the professional work of the industry.
2. Intermediate Level
- Apply 5S and Kaizen standards in the workplace;

- Operate machinery and equipment in the production line according to the correct procedures;
