Circular 19/2018/TT-BQP stipulates the titles of officers in the Military Enforcement Sector, issued on February 9, 2018. One of the basic contents in this document is the regulation on the selection of officers for the Military Enforcement Sector.
To be specific, according to the guidance provided in Circular 19/2018/TT-BQP, the sources for selecting officers in the Military Execution sector include:
- Active-duty military personnel with a bachelor's degree in law or who have passed the entrance exam to law universities;- Vietnamese citizens not under the military's organizational structure who hold an official bachelor's degree in law with a classification of 'good' or higher, or have a Master's or Doctorate degree in law.
The selection of officers in the Military Execution sector is conducted following the procedure below:
* Military personnel trained by the Military with a bachelor's degree in law
Annually, based on the needs of the units and the current status of the officers in the Military Execution sector, the Department of Military Execution under the Ministry of National Defense will draft plans and selection criteria, report the personnel plan to the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Political Department (through the Personnel Department) for review and decision.
* Active-duty military personnel with a bachelor's degree in law or who have passed the entrance exam to law universities and Vietnamese citizens not under the military's organizational structure who hold an official bachelor's degree in law with a classification of 'good' or higher, or have a Master's or Doctorate degree in law: Implement according to the Central Military Commission's personnel work regulations and the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
Circular 19/2018/TT-BQP stipulating the titles of officers in the Military Execution sector, issued by the Minister of National Defense, came into effect on March 26, 2018.
