Recently, the Government issued Decree 55/2009/ND-CP a>on sanctioning of administrative violations of gender equality in Vietnam.
Sanctions for administrative violation of gender equality in culture, information and physical training and sports in Vietnam (Internet image)
Article 11 of Decree 55/2009/ND-CP stipulates sanctions for administrative violation of gender equality in culture, information and physical training and sports in Vietnam as follows:
- Caution shall be served or a fine of between VND 200,000 and 500,000 shall be imposed for either of the following acts:
- A fine of between VND 1,000,000 and 3,000,000 shall be imposed for threatening to use force or using moral intimidation in order to obstruct men or women in composing or criticizing literary and art works, performing and participating in other cultural activities and physical training and sport activities gender prejudice reasons.
- A fine of between VND 3,000,000 and 5,000,000 shall be imposed for either of the following acts:
- A fine of between VND 10,000,000 and 20,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the following acts:
