On November 11, 2016, the Minister of Finance issued Circular 254/2016/TT-BTC amending Circular 153/2015/TT-BTC dated October 02, 2015, stipulating the charge rates, collection policies, payment, management, and usage of road toll fees at 02 toll booths on National Highway 5 in Vietnam.
According to the Circular, in the case where the vehicle owner has purchased tickets for November, Quarter IV/2016 as stipulated in Circular 153/2015/TT-BTC, the ticket can continue to be used until the end of the month or quarter.
In cases where tickets have already been printed for groups of vehicles subject to fee reduction adjustments as specified in Article 1 of this Circular but have not yet been used up, the fee collection unit must notify the directly managing tax authority and stamp the new fee rate on the printed tickets for continuous use.
