Recently, the State has issued Circular 67/2018/TT-BTC providing guidance on the management, operation, exchange, and exploitation of information in the National Database on Public Assets.

According to the new regulations, the exploitation and use of information on public assets in the National Database are carried out as follows:

- The Ministry of Finance is authorized to exploit information on public assets nationwide in the National Database.- Ministries, central agencies, and Provincial People's Committees have the right to exploit information on public assets of agencies, organizations, and units under their management within the National Database.- Agencies, organizations, and units with assets registered in the National Database have the right to exploit information on public assets of their own and their affiliated units (if any) in the National Database.- Information stored in the National Database is used in accordance with Article 129 of the Law on the Management and Use of Public Assets.- Ministries, central agencies, and Provincial People's Committees shall issue Regulations on coordination for information provision to check and compare results of public asset data entries into the National Database and use the information stored in the National Database for the purposes specified in the regulations.
