Rights of the Employer When Participating in the Voluntary Retirement Program

This content is stipulated in Circular 19/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on December 15, 2018, specifically listing the rights of employers when participating in the voluntary retirement program.

Accordingly, Circular 19 stipulates that employers participating in the voluntary retirement program shall enjoy the following rights:

- Decide on the contribution level, frequency, and duration of their contributions.- Reach an agreement with employees on changing the content in the agreement related to their responsibilities and obligations.- Receive back their contributions made for employees and the investment returns from these contributions in cases stipulated by the voluntary supplementary retirement program and the agreement.- Unilaterally terminate the agreement when employees violate the legal regulations on the voluntary supplementary retirement program, as stipulated in the enterprise's voluntary supplementary retirement program.- Other rights as agreed with employees and as stipulated by law.
