Review of the list of titles, leading, managing, and command positions in the Military of Vietnam

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Deputy Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; and representatives from several functional departments of the Ministry of Defense.

Based on the list of positions, titles of leadership and management in the political system, and the regulations of the Communist Party, State, and legal documents regulating leadership, command, and management positions in the Vietnam People's Army, the Permanent Agency of the Steering Committee for the Scheme has drafted a list of leadership, command, and management titles and positions in the Vietnam People's Army. After consulting with the competent authorities, the Military Personnel Department (General Staff) - Permanent Agency of the Steering Committee for the Scheme - cooperated with the Drafting Team to finalize the draft Scheme, the Military Commission's submission, the submission to the Politburo, and the Draft List of leadership, command, and management titles and positions in the Vietnam People's Army.

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised the Drafting Team and related agencies and units for their good preparation for the conference; meanwhile, emphasized the importance of unifying the list of leadership, management, and command titles and positions, which serves as a basis for arranging, planning, appointing, and rewarding officers; enhancing the responsibility of officers at all levels; and distinguishing clearly the leadership, management, and command positions of officers holding leadership, management, and command titles and positions at all levels. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong also requested the Drafting Team and related agencies and units to continue reviewing, adjusting, and completing the list of leadership, management, and command titles and positions in the Vietnam People's Army, and report as per regulations.
