Responsibilities of VIETTEL in Business

Decree 05/2018/ND-CP on the Organization and Operation Charter of the Parent Company - Military Industry and Telecoms Group (VIETTEL) was promulgated on January 05, 2018. In addition to stipulating the business rights of VIETTEL, this Charter also defines the obligations of this organization.

According to the provisions of Article 18 of the Charter on the organization and operation of the Parent Company - Military Industry and Telecoms Group promulgated under Decree 05/2018/ND-CP, in business activities, VIETTEL has the following obligations:

  1. Fulfill the objectives and tasks assigned by the State; conduct business in the registered sectors; ensure the quality of products and services provided by VIETTEL according to the registered standards.

  2. Innovate and modernize technology and management methods to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Ensure information security and the safety of the national backbone telecommunications network.

  3. Guarantee the rights and interests of workers and their participation in VIETTEL's management according to the provisions of law.

  4. Implement State regulations on national defense, cultural security, order, social safety, and the protection of resources and the environment.

  5. Manage risks and insure VIETTEL's assets and personnel during production and business activities according to the provisions of law. Coordinate with labor management agencies of Vietnam, both domestically and abroad, to manage and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests, and resolve issues related to workers sent by VIETTEL to work overseas in accordance with the provisions of law.

  6. Be subject to monitoring and inspection by the State owner's representative; comply with inspection decisions by financial agencies and authorized state agencies according to the provisions of law.

  7. Be accountable to the State owner's representative for the use of capital to invest in and contribute to other enterprises.

  8. Be subject to State supervision in implementing regulations on salary scales, wage tables, wage unit prices, and salary payment policies for employees, Chairman, General Director, Deputy General Directors, Chief Accountant, and other management personnel of VIETTEL.

  9. Fulfill other business obligations as prescribed by law.
