Responsibilities of the Unit in Charge of the Vocational Education Quality System

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has issued Circular 28/2017/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the quality assurance system of vocational education institutions.

According to Circular 28, the unit responsible for the quality system of vocational education has the following responsibilities:

- Host, cooperate with units within the vocational education institution to plan, build, operate, evaluate, and improve the quality assurance system and submit for approval to the head of the vocational education institution;- Host, cooperate with units to organize the implementation, operation, evaluation, and improvement of the quality assurance system;- Urge, inspect, supervise, and propose measures for the implementation, operation, and improvement of the quality assurance system to ensure timely, effective execution and quality assurance;- Report on the results of the construction, operation, and improvement of the quality assurance system as required by the head of the vocational education institution.

The principal or director of the vocational education institution establishes or assigns the unit to perform the functions and duties of quality assurance and quality accreditation of the vocational education institution.
