On May 30, 2014, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued Circular 11/2014/TT-BKHCN regulating the assessment and acceptance of results of national-level science and technology tasks funded by the state budget in Vietnam.
Responsibilities of members of the Council for assessment and acceptance of results from scientific and technological tasks in Vietnam (Internet image)
Circular 11/2014/TT-BKHCN stipulates the responsibilities of members in the council for evaluating and accepting the results of the implementation of national science and technology tasks in Vietnam as follows:
- Reviewing documents and materials, commenting on the implementation results of the task according to Form 4a or Form 4b in the Appendix issued with this Circular and sending the comment form to the task management unit at least 01 working day before the council meeting;
- Requesting relevant organizations and individuals to provide necessary documents for the evaluation and acceptance work;
- Objectively and accurately evaluating and accepting the results of the task implementation and taking responsibility for their evaluation opinions;
- Not disclosing information about the evaluation results before the decision to recognize the results is made; not retaining, exploiting, publishing, or using the task implementation results contrary to regulations or without the consent of the governing ministry.
- Reporting and handling arising issues related to the council's evaluation results as required by the Head of the task-governing ministry;
- Confirming the completion of the evaluation documents by the task manager according to the council’s conclusions.
