Responsibilities in consulting with local employee representative organizations and employers' organizations in Vietnam (Illustrative photo)
Circular 27/2014/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the responsibilities of the People's Committee, Labor Federation, and provincial employer representative organizations in Vietnam as follows:
- Responsibilities of the Provincial People's Committee in soliciting opinions:
- Organize the solicitation of opinions from the Provincial Labor Federation and provincial employer representative organizations on the specified contents with appropriate, effective forms, fully promoting the responsibilities of the parties in providing opinions;
- Preside over and cooperate with the parties to establish working groups, steering committees, and research committees to implement issues related to labor relations, coordinating in resolving arising issues in labor relations at the local level.
- Responsibilities of the Provincial Labor Federation in providing opinions:
- Collect, compile, and solicit opinions from members, grassroots unions, directly superior unions, and units under the Provincial Labor Federation on stipulated contents to participate with the Provincial People's Committee upon request;
- Assign participants to attend conferences and seminars, and provide opinions on discussed content at conferences and seminars organized and invited by the Provincial People's Committee;
- Assign participants to working groups, steering committees, and research committees to implement stipulated contents; coordinate in resolving arising issues in labor relations at the local level upon the request of the Provincial People's Committee.
- Responsibilities of provincial employer representative organizations in providing opinions:
- Collect, compile, and solicit opinions from members and organizations under their management scope on stipulated contents to participate with the Provincial People's Committee upon request;
- Assign participants to attend conferences and seminars, and provide opinions on discussed content at conferences and seminars organized and invited by the Provincial People's Committee;
- Assign participants to working groups, steering committees, and research committees to implement stipulated contents; coordinate in resolving arising issues in labor relations at the local level upon the request of the Provincial People's Committee.
