Resolution of Overlaps in Specialized Inspection Activities in Science and Technology

1. If the inspection plan of a subordinate agency overlaps with the inspection plan of a superior agency, follow the inspection plan of the superior inspection agency.

2. The Chief Inspector of the Ministry is responsible for presiding over, cooperating with the Chief Inspector of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies to resolve overlaps in the inspection activities of the science and technology sector; cooperating with the Chief Inspector of the province to resolve overlaps in the inspection activities of the science and technology sector with local inspection agencies; and submitting to the Minister of Science and Technology for review and decision when necessary.

3. The Head of the Inspectorate of the Department reports to the Chief Inspector of the province to handle overlaps in inspection activities with local inspection agencies. In the case of overlap with the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function in science and technology, coordinate to handle; report to the Chief Inspector of the Ministry for review and decision when necessary.

The Head of the Sub-Department reports to the Head of the Department Inspectorate to handle overlaps in specialized inspection activities with local specialized inspection agencies.

4. The General Director and the Director are responsible for cooperating with relevant units within the sector to handle arising overlaps; report to the Chief Inspector of the Ministry for review and decision when necessary.
