Recently, the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam issued Circular 05/2011/TT-TTCP stipulating regulations on anti-corruption in the inspectorate sector in Vietnam.

According to Article 10 of Circular 05/2011/TT-TTCP, publicity and transparency in the resolution of complaints and denunciations in Vietnam are implemented as follows:
1. Publicity and transparency in complaint resolution in Vietnam
- Publicize on mass media, electronic information sites the legal provisions on complaints and complaint resolution; assignment of direction, implementation of complaint resolution tasks; complaint resolution decisions; the results of implementing recommendations, complaint resolution decisions immediately after the competent authority signs and approves;
- Notify in writing to the complainant, the complained party, and related agencies or organizations or publicize on mass media the acceptance of complaint resolution; decision to verify the complaint; report on the results of verifying the content of the complaint; conclusion of complaint resolution; documents directing the resolution of the complaint immediately after the competent authority signs and approves; except in cases where the lawin Vietnam provides otherwise.
2. Publicity and transparency in denunciation resolution in Vietnam
- Publicize on mass media, electronic information sites the legal provisions on denunciations and denunciation resolution, assignment of direction, handling of complaint letters and denunciation information as soon as the competent authority signs and approves;
- Notify in writing to the whistleblower; the person being denounced; related agencies and organizations of the acceptance of denunciation resolution, decision to verify the content of the denunciation, report on the results of verification, conclusion on the content of the denunciation, decision on handling the denunciation, results of implementing recommendations, decisions on handling denunciations in accordance with the legal provisions on denunciations.
