On December 29, 2017, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Circular 29/2017/TT-BNNPTNT on the National Technical Regulation for raw fresh milk products.
Circular 29 sets forth the requirements for the preservation and transportation of raw fresh milk as follows:
Regarding preservation
- Preserve raw fresh milk at a temperature ranging from 2 °C to 6 °C using specialized cold equipment and tools for food that are non-corrosive and non-reactive to the milk; ensuring quality and food safety and hygiene.
Regarding transportation
- Raw fresh milk is transported in specialized cold equipment and tools for food that are non-corrosive and non-reactive to the milk; ensuring quality and food safety and hygiene.
Regarding testing methods
- Applicable testing methods are specified in Appendix D of the Standards or other testing methods with equivalent accuracy may be used.
