This is one of the contents stipulated in Circular 33/2014/TT-BKHCN promulgating the regulation on management of ministerial-level science and technology tasks of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, issued on November 06, 2014.
Requirements for ministerial-level trial production projects by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam (Illustrative Image)
Ministerial-level trial production projects in Vietnam must meet the following requirements:
- The host unit of the project must commit to the ability to mobilize self-funded capital or through cooperation with enterprises or organizations and individuals that have non-state budget funds.
- The technology or science and technology product being tested must be the result of a science and technology task that has been assessed, accepted, and recommended for implementation by the Science and Technology Council, or be the result of exploiting a patent or a useful solution.
- The technology or science and technology product expected to be tested must ensure stability on a small production scale and have feasibility in application or development on a mass production scale.
- The execution period for the pilot production project should not exceed 36 months from the date of signing the science and technology contract.
A ministerial-level trial production project is a science and technology task in line with the management scope of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, aiming to apply scientific research results and experimental deployment to test solutions, methods, economic-social management models, or small-scale pilot production to perfect new technologies or new products before putting them into production and life.
